As a fast-paced, high growth firm we seek a skilled networking professional located in either our Bangalore, India or Singapore office.
As part of the Firmwide Technology Team whose responsibilities include the 24×7 management of servers and services (Citrix, VMWare, DNS, AD, Whitewater, NetApp), networks (Riverbeds, Cisco routers, Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls and switches and Aruba Wireless), Exchange and Telecom environments, the primary responsibility of the Network Administrator is to support the networking (LAN/WAN) needs of the FW Technology team as well as our end-users located in 46 offices.
In support of our end-users and the services offered and supported by the Firmwide Technology Team, the Network Administrator II will administer the Enterprise WAN which includes configuration, deployment, security and monitoring, documentation, maintenance and troubleshooting as well as the LAN networks in 46 offices
Specifically, the Network Administrator will set up, configure, and support internal and/or external networks; will maintain systems, applications, security, and network configurations; will recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment; will provide technical support and guidance to peers as well as end-users; maintain documentation in support of ongoing maintenance and disaster recovery; and use his/her knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
The Gensler network is comprised of technologies and services such as: Cisco ASAs, ISR g1 and g2, ASR 1001, VPN and DMVPN, Nexus 5548UPD, 2000 and 1000V; QoS; Riverbed: Steelheads, Cascade, Mobile; Aruba Wireless, F5 and Citrix NetScaler load balancers, Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama.
Minimum of five years hands-on experience in the implementation and management of routers (such as BGP, EIRGP, and QoS) and switches (STP, QoS, VLANs, converged networks) in support of a large enterprise
Strong problem-solving skills; proactively recognizes needs, anticipates issues, and develops solutions
Excellent communication skills; detailed oriented and organized; ability to work closely with creative, technical and business stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in business process improvement/re-engineering
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems
Candidate will have a CCIE Routing and Switching and experience to matc
