Technical Support Senior Engineer-1410042
Primarily focused on supporting the Network and Security operations in Customer LAN/WAN and perimeter security environment. Candidate will be a part of technical team that will be responsible for resolving incident tickets, Implementing Change requests of client’s product/service through phone, email or remote access. Candidate will be interacting with clients, understanding their needs and providing technical support to clients by remotely accessing their Networks and troubleshooting the issues raised.

Product Knowledge- Products- Riverbed or Juniper or Cisco or Palo Alto or VSP, Audiocodes or OS Patching and Antivirus.
Experience and Skills:
ü 3 to 6 years of experience in the areas of Network and Security with hands-on experience in the remote IT infrastructure support in terms of handling alerts, calls, emails and incident tickets with good exposure to 24×7 Network Infrastructure Management.
ü Knowledge of general networking technologies (TCP/IP networking, LAN, WAN, WDNS/DHCP, Proxy).
ü Troubleshooting network connectivity, Router and Switch operations using basic utilitiesping, traceroute, telnet, ssh and SHOW commands.
ü Good understanding of the Juniper Networks Junos OS, networking fundamentals and basic routing and switching. JNCIA-FWW, JNCIA-JunOS, JNCIS-Security at least one certification is a must.
ü Good understanding of security technologies and related platform configuration and troubleshooting skills for Juniper security platform devices (SRX and Netscreen).
ü Very good hands on experience in Juniper SSG, Juniper SRX series and/or Fortinet firewalls configuration and troubleshooting is a must. Experience in verification and ongoing management of technical escalations to Juniper TAC.
ü Knowledge and experience on following devices in preferable: Juniper NSM, Juniper IDP, Juniper IC Series, Palo Alto Firewalls, ACME Packet SBC, Riverbed Stingray LoadBalancer.
ü Managing and coordinating the Upgrade/downgrade of Security devices.
ü Understanding of 24×7 IT support model and Good exposure to ITIL framework including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Release Management and Configuration Management.
ü Excellent verbal and written communication skills are the must. Flexible and adaptable to meet the team needs.
