The gTech Content Operations (gCO) team has the critical responsibility of protecting Google’s users by ensuring compliance of content across various Google products.

We strive to maintain a healthy ecosystem for the company’s expanding base of advertisers, publishers and users across the globe by adhering to quality standards.

We deliver “best-in-class” service levels by driving excellence in operational efficiency and customer centricity.

The team also drives product solutions through analytical and technical expertise assisted by automation experts.

We use several of Google’s internal technologies and analytical systems to help improve the experience of millions of Google users and advertisers.

Navigating ambiguity, thriving in a fast-paced, global, and cross-functional environment, and effectively harnessing analytical and/or technical skills to make process and system improvements are key aspects of this role.

You work globally and cross-functionally across teams to drive innovative solutions at scale.


Establish a scalable workflow solution that caters to the dynamic nature and immense scale of ads review work. Boost advertiser experience by constant monitoring of the ads review operating environment, including making staffing improvements, dynamic resource allocation and reducing turnaround times.

Improve adaptability for easier business process change management and future technological advancements. Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs.

Lead and participate in initiatives to innovate and implement at scale improvements to processes and/or systems. Manage Vendor Operations.

Analyze data and trends to identify bottlenecks, improve metrics and drive overall efficiency.

Establish industry level best practices related to workflow management in large scale operational settings.

Minimum qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

Experience managing workflows for globally distributed teams.

Preferred qualifications

BA/BS degree in Engineering or related technical field.

Experience with querying and analyzing large sets of data in spreadsheet and presentation software, and SQL.

Experience and knowledge of database structures and algorithm, with experience in one or more coding and/or scripting language (Python, Java, JavaScript).

Analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to identify complex problems and implement creative, data driven solutions.

Keen interest in search and online advertising. Ability to drive customer satisfaction and business growth through direct and/or scalable sales and support initiatives. Well versed with industry best practices/tools in workflow management.

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills conducive to team development, as well as excellent creative written and verbal communication skills.


The Google Technical Services team (known as gTech) provides technical expertise across all Google products to support our global Sales, Business Development and Partnerships teams.

We fix any issues on behalf of customers and partners so that our sales teams can focus on what they do best.

We collaborate closely with Google’s engineering groups to create technical solutions that enable our sales organization to help our customers’ businesses grow.
