Provide a pivotal role in facility service operations throughout the region. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure an efficient and productive integration for office moves, vendor management, information transfers, data analysis, new program implementation and M&A activities.
Influence customer, the client and other internal organizations to drive consensus and compromise when needed. Communicate program information and updates to Googlers.
Partner with other Real Estate and Workplace Services functional teams at a strategic level to plan and implement service objectives for onsite management of Google’s diverse employee perks programs, such as massage, fitness and food service programs, as well as security and transportation programs.
Manage facilities operating budget as well as oversee property management services and vendor service contracts, including landlord relations and operational support engagement. Manage outsourced programs that help maintain day-to-day operations, and amenities.
Act as ‘on-site’ liaison during planning and construction of office expansions, manage vendor service contracts and Request for Proposals (RFP) processes, purchase orders, space planning, tracking, move coordination, and new hire space accommodations.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of service experience with an emphasis on facilities, hospitality, corporate services, property management or equivalent office management experience.
Experience using business software programs including google applications.
Advanced experience developing and managing budgets with strong financial, contract management and purchasing skills.
Strong strategic and operational facilities management and services experience, including the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Ability to suggest and implement creative, non-standard, and innovative solutions to existing and future issues.
General knowledge of leases, space planning, and moves in order to meet the business needs of an individual field office.
Ability to oversee an on-site project or implementation of a national initiative through to completion. This would include staying within budget, communication and engagement with the user group, and delivering on-time completion.
Ability to multi-task and establish priorities. Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Proven ability to influence at all levels.
