Here  x in each term denotes the value of the previous term. For Example Second term 9 = 7.1 +2  where 7 is the first term..

Hence option b is the odd option.

7         Two companies have sales turnover of  25% and 60% more than the third company. What is the ratio of the turnover of these two companies?
